Bistro on the Beach is so much more than a Seaside Restaurant. This family-run establishment has succeeded in becoming a real feature of life and leisure on this section of the Dorset coast, serving breakfast, lunch, Sunday roasts, afternoon teas and evening meals on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Barbeques are held on the Promenade every Thursday evening during the summer (weather permitting), with Live Music – what better way to end a day on the beach than to watch the sun set with your favourite drink and the aroma of delicious food being cooked right in front of you.

Alternatively, book a table on Friday or Saturday evening for a candlelit dinner and try some fabulous fish specials, whilst taking in the beautiful sea views.

A take-away facility is also available, selling hot and cold fast food, drinks and New Forest ice creams – all in all, the perfect accompaniment to your day by the sea. Bistro on the Beach is understandably popular on Fridays and Saturday evenings, and booking is recommended.
